Job Description

We’re looking for an excellent video editor: someone who understands how to shoot and turn raw footage into something people actually want to watch. This role is for someone who thinks in stories, not just clips. You should know how to pace a video, build emotion, and hold attention from the first second to the last.

At Radah, video isn’t an afterthought tacked onto a campaign; it’s often the thing that carries the strategy. You’ll be turning briefs, raw footage, and half-formed ideas into content that moves people, whether that’s a 15-second piece built for the scroll or a longer campaign film built to sit with an audience. You’ll work closely with our strategists and designers, so the story you’re editing is always grounded in what the campaign is actually trying to say, not just what looks good.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You won’t just be trimming footage to spec; you’ll be shaping how a story gets told, from pacing and rhythm down to the smallest colour and sound choice. If you’ve got a sharp eye, a fast turnaround, and a genuine instinct for what makes people stop scrolling, we want to see your work.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Editing videos for social media, campaigns, and digital platforms
  • Turning ideas into clean, engaging visual stories
  • Working with our team to shape content from concept to final cut
  • Adding the right mix of sound, transitions, and colour to bring videos to life
  • Delivering consistently, even when timelines are tight

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience editing videos, with a solid portfolio to show
  • Confidence using tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut Pro, After Effects, or similar
  • A good sense of timing, rhythm, and visual storytelling
  • An understanding of what works online, especially for short-form content
  • A sharp eye for detail in colour, pacing, and sound
  • Familiarity with current trends and tools in video production and editing
  • Ability to write or contribute to scripts and creative briefs

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with motion graphics tools
  • An understanding of analytics: knowing why a video performs well, not just how it looks

Application Process
Interested candidates must be based in Abuja. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and, if successful, will take part in a mandatory in-person pre-employment evaluation. A stipend is paid to cover associated costs.

To apply, send your resume and portfolio to recruitment@radahmedia.company.
